Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has left a lasting impression on the screen. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Within a short time she left Ohio to move to Texas and pursued her master's degree in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in independent local films, as well as worldwide commercials. Despite the small role, she found that acting was her interest. She moved into New York and in 2001 she got her first role on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she played small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was in the 2004 short-lived series The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear with a variety of notable TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards, including Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding Performances on a Dramatic Television Series. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was Marisol Deko, Horatio Caine's wife. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is born of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was very conservative and spiritual one. Milano's journey into the world of sports began when she was seven, after her child's sitter took her to an audition. From more than 1,000 candidates her name was picked to be one of only four. Milano has appeared on TV in commercials and off Broadway productions including the musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
